Afghanistan Forward Operating Base Telecommunications

Simba Enterprises joined forces with long-term teammate/Mentor DoD Contractor to form Team Simba — to provide quality communications, networking solutions and superior customer services at Forward Operating Bases (FOB) in Afghanistan.

On a LOGCAP IV Sub-Contract to DynCorp, Team Simba provides skilled, on site technicians to install, operate, service and maintain satellite-based, Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) networks. At more than 47 FOB sites in Afghanistan, Team Simba provides technical support for fielded data networks, VOIP phones and services, radio services, satellite phones, cell phones, desktop support, and wireless data network support. All of Team Simba’s Field Service Representatives (FSRs) in Afghanistan have BA degrees in either Engineering or Computer Science and all are CCNA and GVF certified to ensure our customer receive the best possible services and support.

U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) Office of Foreign Labor Certification (OFLC), Employment and Training Administration

Simba Enterprises provides Project Management support to the DOL on technology projects to ensure application development projects are done on schedule, within budget and scope, and meet all quality standards. Simba Enterprises also serves as liaison with the Office of Performance and Technology while working with internal Division staff, OFLC National Processing Center staff, and business stakeholders to ensure the application development projects are successful.

Simba Enterprises provided Emergency and Management Training for the National Park Service (NPS) Law Enforcement, Security, and Emergency Services division 2009-10.

Simba Enterprises also provided Project management support for large scale projects within the National Park Service’s Visitor and Resource Protection Directorate in 2010 – 2011

Simba Enterprises currently provides licensed physicians affiliated with a nationally recognized emergency medicine program to provide advice and counsel to the NPS emergency medical services program. The physicians write guidelines, policies, orders and field operations manuals as well as provide emergency medical advice and a wide range of emergency medical services including protocols, procedures and drug therapies. This work is conducted under the direction of the NPS Branch Chief of Emergency Services
